THE CONCEPTION OF COMMUNICATION TOOLS FOR CAMIMUN 2013 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

            The CAMIMUN (Cameroon International Model United Nations) association is organising the International conference for the simulation of the United Nations decision-making organs from the 19th to the 24th October, 2013. This conference will bring together youths the worldover, seeking to promote UNO values ;  and the human development of youths due to their initiation into diverse diplomatic techniques for the promotion of their participation in the development process.

            For this occasion, we are in search of implicated and creative young people or a group for the conception of our communication and visibility tools. The tools will include :

-        Banners,

-        Posters,

-        T-shirts,

-        Flyers,

-        Oriflamme,

-        Caps,

-        Pins ,

-        etc.

1. About CAMIMUN

            CAMIMUN is an associative movement made up of young volonteers sharing UNO values such as human rights, gender and equity. It essentially aims at providing youths with a reflexion, action and information framework on the functioning of the United Nations system, via the organisation of conferences, seminars, trainings, information and mobilisation campaigns, specific projects and programs. Its actions entail, among others, this annual conference that is the cornerstone of the organisation. It consists of simulations of decision-making organs with United Nations. 

            CAMIMUN is inspired from the « MUN » (Model United Nations) concept born in the United States of America in the 50s at Havard University.

2. Participation requirements:

-        The contest is open  to all cameroonians aged between 15 to 35 years,

-        The group applications are accepted, provided that the members respect the first condition,

-        Should already have carried out  a similar work

-        Should be flexible and creative

-        Should be capable of working under pressure

3. Application portfolio

The file should include:

-        A motivation letter adressed to the President of CAMIMUN,

-        A CV or CVs of each member of a constituted group,

-        A sample of previous executed works.

All the applicaion files should be deposited at CAMIMUN premises ; at the Cameroon Youth Council headquarters before the aforementionned date or at the following adresses: secretariat.camimun@gmail.com ; send a copy at : mouassie@gmail.com

The pre-selected candidates will be called back for an interview after which an application will be retained.

4. Advantages

-        The selected candidates will automatically take part in the conference,

-        A special bonus will be awarded for this purpose,

-        The implimentation modalities will be discussed according after the selection of the candidates.
